Currently there are four active community gardens that exist within the city limits, where you can grow your own garden on city-owned property. Volunteer groups offer getting-started guidance and maintenance assistance to all who partake.

 

Though a yearly one-time fee of $25 is required, it is trivial compared to the amount of healthy produce and sense of community you can gain from becoming a part of this.
