BULK STONE & SAND

 

Northeast Nursery supplies the North Shore Region with 7 types of bulk stone and sand. It can either be picked up at our yard or delivered to your job site! All bulk materials are sold by the cubic yard only. If you are looking for smaller quantities, we have similar products available in bags.

 

    Washed Pea Stone

 

• Smooth texture and rich, natural color

 

• A great choice for driveways & replacement sand on beaches and in snadboxes

 

• Can be used to create pathways, patios, and edging for garden beds

 

• Available in 3 sizes:

  • 3/8”

  • 3/4”

  • 1 1/2”

 

 

    Crushed Stone

 

• Blue/Grey in color

 

• Multi-purpose application usage such as drainage, driveways, or mulch in open areas

 

• Available in 3 sizes:

  • 1/2”

  • 3/4”

  • 1 1/2”

 

 

 

 

    Red Crushed Stone

 

• Deep red color

 

• Can be used for drainage, driveways, or mulching in open areas

 

• Available in 2 sizes:

  • 3/4”

  • 1 ½”

 

 

 

 

 

    Stone Dust

 

• Crushed stone that is screened so fine

 

• Creates a nice base material for concrete paver walkways and driveways

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

    Stone Pack

 

• Mixture of stone dust and 3/4” crushed stone

 

• Excellent sub-base material for concrete paver walkways and driveways

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

    Concrete & Builders Sand

 

• Course in texture

 

• General use such as sand boxes

 

• Can also be a base material for concrete paver walkways and driveways

 

• May contain some smaller pebbles

 

 

 

 

    Mason/Mortar Sand

 

• Washed and is fine textured

 

• Used for mixing with mortar and cement

 

• Contains no pebbles

In order to determine how much bulk stone and sand you will need, you have to know your square footage (length x width).

Once calculated, divide that by 100 and it will give you the quantity desired at a 2-3” depth.
